Stephen Koukoulas joins Dun & Bradstreet as
economic advisor

Dun & Bradstreet today announced the appointment of Mr Stephen Koukoulas as the company's Economic Advisor in Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Koukoulas commenced his role in September and will provide valuable support to D&B's economic and industry research program.

Gareth Jones, Dun & Bradstreet's CEO, said: "We are delighted to have Stephen on board."

"He is a well-respected economist who brings with him more than 25 years of experience across domestic and international economic and financial markets. Stephen also provides a unique perspective on micro and macroeconomic trends that will further strengthen D&B's business insights," said Mr Jones.

Mr Koukoulas (pictured) will continue as the Managing Director and Founder of Market Economics, an independent macroeconomic think-tank in addition to his role as Senior Economic Adviser to Dun & Bradstreet. Stephen was previously Senior Economic Adviser to the Australian Prime Minister and prior to that,  held the position of Global Head of Research and Strategy for TD Securities in London, and spent a decade as a Senior Economist and Chief Economist of Citibank Australia, and Chief Strategist at TD Securities in Sydney.

He was also an Economic Analyst for the Australian Financial Review between 1999 and 2001. This was followed by an eight-year stint in the Commonwealth Treasury where he worked in the areas of economic forecasting, monetary policy analysis, current economic conditions and the international economy.

Mr Koukoulas said he was pleased to be a part of the D&B team and is excited about working with an organisation that assists businesses around the world to assess risk and make better decisions.
